I find the first chapter of the book very interesting because there are a lot of interesting information about the main characters. The book has an exciting beginning and the reader wants to read more without beeing bored. The leading character in this book is Alex. He is an 18 year old boy and he is from Britain. Alex made a deal with his mother. The rules in this deal are that Alex can go anywhere he wants to go for six months if he passes his exam. Alex chose to go to Australia because his father is living there, and he hasn't seen his father for 16 years. I am very sad that Alex's parents divorced when he was 2 and a half years old. In this age children need their parents most. I think that Alex is very excited to see his father again after 16 years.
The book is very interesting and I look forward to read it!
